This Aroid has large, heart-shaped leaves with a very pronounced ribbed texture once mature. Its deep green color adds an exotic touch to any space.
Anthuriums prefer higher humidity in the 60-80% range.
Recommendations for growing success:
Soil: Use a well draining soil.
Watering: Water thoroughly once soil is 80-90% dry. The #1 houseplant death is from how frequent you water, not how much water is provided. Make sure your pot has drainage holes allowing soil to dry out during growing season. Reduce watering during winter.
