Philodendron hederaceum green & lemon lime

5” hanging basket of philodendron hederaceum (heartleaf) regular green form and lemon lime (neon green almost yellow) form.

This simple yet beautiful plant trails vines with heart shaped leaves. Care is compared to the well known pothos. 

Recommendations for growing success:

Difficulty- medium

Pet Friendly- yes
Soil: Use a well draining soil. 

Watering: Water thoroughly once soil is 50-60% dry. The #1 houseplant death is from how frequent you water, not how much water is provided.  Make sure your pot has drainage holes allowing soil to dry out during growing season. Reduce watering during winter.
Lighting: Bright indirect sunlight

** I highly recommend to not repot your plant right away to avoid further stress. I use a very high quality custom soil with fertilizer. Your plant can remain in same pot til it is rootbound.
