Philodendron Gloriousum

3” Philodendron Gloriousum. The mother plant has consistent sport variegation. This Philodendron is known for its large, velvety leaves and striking veins. It has striking green foliage & is a common plant to be used for various Houseplant accessories. This plant is a crawler, which means it roots and “crawls” along the top of the soil vs going straight up or trailing.

Soil: Use a well draining soil.

Watering: Water thoroughly once the first 1-2” of the soil is dry. The #1 houseplant death is from how frequent you water, not how much water is provided.  Make sure your pot has drainage holes allowing soil to dry out during growing season. Reduce watering during winter.

Lighting: Bright indirect sunlight

** I highly recommend to not repot your plant right away to avoid further stress. I use a very high quality custom soil with fertilizer. Your plant can remain in same pot til it is rootbound.
