Winter Assurance Shipping Pack
Winter Assurance is an add on purchase during the winter, chilly months to ensure a healthy arrival of your Houseplants. WSA covers up to 6 plants for any single package, any additional plants require extra an WSAP.
This is an encouraged, recommended add on if you’re worried about purchasing plants in the colder months. It is highly recommended that if the weather is below 55 degrees in either our location (pa) or your location. Keep in mind that we ship plants PRIORITY 3 day so- for example, if one day is 55 or above and the next 2 or 3 days is below, its stressed to still purchase WSA.
When, WSA is needed and added on to your order-
We check and monitor the weather for both locations and the weather along their journey. We take extra precautions including
- Adding extra packing fluff
- Adding a heat pack
- Wrapping plants Individually in insulation
- Including the entire contents of the package in insulation
- Shipping on the warmest days in the near future
- Shipping plants dry- shipping plants with wet substrate during the winter months can be detrimental
The additional cost of WSA covers the expenses of the required supplies to insulate and properly package the plants to protect them in the winter months.
WSA is non-refundable once purchased
In a rare occurrence that WSA was purchased and some type of damage is visible, please file a claim. Reach out via email within 24hrs of receiving your order and follow the instructions found in our replacement policy tab at the bottom or the top of our website.
With each purchase, once your package is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email that will include your tracking number. Please utilize the tracking number and try to get the package into warmer weather as soon as possible. Leaving plants outside for an extended period of time in a package, even with WSA protection, can cause significant cold damage. If, a claim is filed due to damaged plants we will know the delivered time and will ask when the package was brought into your home.
Claims or Emails reported 24 hours after receiving your order will not be honored.
